Here on this peak walks what's left of a man
His family dead by the sins of his past
Old prayers float from his lips to the moon
He knows that his pleadings shall be answered soon
In his grief stricken mind hangs a hatred for death
Barehanded, he exhumes both his coveted dead
What's left of his heart now beats slowly in his chest
But no tears trickle down on this cold wooden bench
Where their bodies lie dead but not for much longer
As blade, wax and stitch move as shown by the augur
Mouths shall reopen with tongues that don't speak
On this blasphemous night here on Moonlight Peak
Severed at once by the cruel hand of fate
The strands of their life he now tries to remake
A family gathered in a body as one
With thread and with needle and a mystical chant
Peel off the skin from your shoulder and torso
Burnt candle drips on the corpse of your daughter
Sewing their faces and pasting with wax
Chant the tongue of the ancients and watch their souls come back
Father, can't you see what you have done here
Sinner, breathed new life within my carcass
Blasphemer, what redemption you can spare is
Nothing, before the cold embrace of death
Father, can't you see what you have done here
Selfishly dragged my soul through non-existence
Blasphemer, an affront to the creator
Look at us, and take pride in your miscreation
Why did you bring us back?
Why did you not let us die?
