In the bliss of asphyxiation carrion hunger is reborn
In the bliss of asphyxiation instincts burst and take their hold

Rooted in the soil where I was born
Watchful angels hovering above
Winds that carry whispers from afar
Speak to me, the wretched spawn of stars

I breathe the frozen travelling winds and fill my empty lungs
I slide these crooked fingers around my ribs and hear them crack

I bathe within the oil I bleed
I scrape my broken bones and sing
The spark sets off a blazing fire
At once, the night around is lit on fire

By the bones which I scour and the flesh I've ingested
I shall be resurrected

By the bones which I scour and the marrow I've drawn
I shall be reborn

In the ice-bound sky above me lie uncharted constellations
Celestial bodies frozen in the midst of their formation

Upon this burning earth I crawl, awaiting for the ice to thaw
And in that grand deluge to drown; within that newfound sea to be reborn

I watch as with a scream of mine the angels fall and crash
Their broken shapes are howling as their feathers turn to ash

Towards the towering flame's mirage I slither and I crawl
Demonic faces scream, I pick their flesh and eat it raw

Let the heavens burst in two
Let the frozen torrents pour
Let them reap what they have sown
Let the starlight pierce my empty soul

Starlight engulfs the raging waters and dust
So many aeons have passed
Once ingrown thorns break my skull, and I see

Starlight: the blackest starlight; invading my eyes
Making me blind that I'll see the blackest...
